Rhode Island College invites applications for the position of Assistant to the Director of Athletics within the Department of Athletics and Recreation. This is a full-time, calendar-year, continuing position.

The Assistant to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation helps shape a positive, engaging experience for student-athletes and the broader campus community. Working closely with the director, this role supports student-athlete success and keeps athletics and recreation programs running smoothly by coordinating student support services, team travel, facilities, and athletic events. The position also contributes to fundraising, community outreach, and marketing, while guiding student-athlete leadership activities and helping build school spirit and fan engagement.

Required qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: At least four years’ experience gained by working in a college or university environment.

• Education: Master’s Degree in physical education, recreation, sports administration, or related field.
• Experience: Bilingual.
