Degree Audit and Graduation Specialist
Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Degree Audit and Graduation Specialist. This is full-time, calendar year, continuing position.
Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, the Degree Audit and Graduation Specialist supports student progress and success by managing the PeopleSoft academic advisement system and ensuring accurate degree audits, academic program requirements, and student records. The position monitors student progress toward degree completion, conducts final degree audits, processes graduation applications, and supports graduation and commencement activities.
The specialist serves as a key resource for students, faculty, advisors, and administrators by interpreting academic requirements, policies, and procedures and resolving individual student issues. The role also requires maintaining confidentiality and compliance with FERPA while providing timely, professional, and customer-focused support to the college community.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of experience with records, registrar, and/or academic advising in a higher education institution.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with student system degree audit modules such as PeopleSoft.
