Research Analyst
Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Institutional Research Analyst. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.
The Institutional Research Analyst will perform research and analytical duties to support the Director and Assistant Director of Institutional Research & Planning in carrying out the office’s mission.
The Office of Institutional Research and Planning at Rhode Island College is dedicated to supporting institution’s mission of student success. The office is committed to providing stakeholders, both within the institution and external, with accurate and timely data about the College. We also support institutional decision-making by developing analyses and data-driven insights that provide critical information to leadership.
Rhode Island College is a regional comprehensive public college that serves approximately 6,400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students through its five schools: The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, psychology, or other quantitative and research-oriented field.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a research/analytic setting, experience working with large datasets; experience with survey research.
- Master’s Degree and experience in higher education, ideally in institutional research.
- Proficiency with SPSS or other statistical package.
- Experience with an ERP system, such as PeopleSoft.
Proposed Starting Salary: $62,500
