Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry. This is a 1-year limited, academic year, full-time position.

The Assistant Professor of Chemistry will teach undergraduate students from a wide range of programs, including Chemistry majors and minors, Biology majors, and Nursing and other healthcare majors. The position will entail mainly teaching labs, although some lecture classes may be available in the spring semester. Ability to collaborate across departmental subdisciplines preferred.

Established in 1854, Rhode Island College is a teaching-focused, primarily undergraduate, mid-sized state institution of about 6400 students located in a suburban setting in Providence. Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
• Research experience in chemistry or a closely related field.
