Instructor/Assistant Professor of Psychology (1-Year Limited)
Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, 1-Year Instructor/Assistant Professor of Psychology
The successful candidate will teach foundational psychology courses, including introductory psychology, research methods, social psychology, human development, and/or child psychology, while maintaining an active research agenda and supervising student research. Additional responsibilities include academic advising and participation in departmental, college, and professional service activities. The department seeks a collaborative educator with college-level teaching and research experience who is committed to supporting students.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s in psychology.
- College teaching experience in the areas to be taught is essential, and research experience in psychology.
- PH.D in Psychology.
- Ability to teach a range of foundational courses such as introductory psychology, research methods, social psychology, human development, and child psychology.
- Ability and commitment to involving students in research.
Minimum Salary for Terminal Degree: $67,734.91
