Alzheimer's Association - RI Chapter

Doug Emanuel is a partner with Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP, with offices in Providence and Westerly. In addition, he has served as chair of the Rhode Island Bar Association's New Lawyers Committee.
Doug has been a member of the Board of Excellence of the RI Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association since November, 2025. His connection to the organization is short; his affiliation with Alzheimer’s Disease is much longer, and it can be summed up in three words:
Past. Present. Future.
Doug’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at age 58 and died at 73. His mother-in-law is well beyond communication or interaction due to Alzheimer’s grip. And Doug’s best friend was diagnosed just after his 60th birthday and was told to retire immediately.
