Providence Chamber Members Win $650,000 for Med Research

Rhode Island Foundation awards nearly $650,000 in seed funding for promising medical research   Grants are intended to help emerging researchers advance projects to the point where they can compete for national funding  The Rhode Island Foundation has awarded nearly $650,000 in seed funding to 26 promising medical research projects. The work ranges from improving patient adherence to GLP-1 based weight loss medications to training AI to accurately diagnose breast cancer.  The grants
