The Potter League for Animals invites the community to step out, dress up, and shake a tail feather for a great cause at The Bark & Boogie, a lively, reimagined spring gala taking place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM in the Grand Ballroom at the Newport Marriott Hotel.
 
Presented by the Lola Ruth Giving Fund, The Bark & Boogie brings together supporters, animal lovers, and community members for an unforgettable cocktail-style evening where the cool cats gather featuring craft cocktails, crowd-pleasing fare, live music from World Premier Band, and dancing—along with interactive and engaging ways to give back woven throughout the night.
 
With a touch of speakeasy flair and a lively, celebratory spirit, the event is designed to be vibrant, welcoming, and deeply connected to the mission at the heart of the Potter League’s work. Throughout the evening, the animals who inspire this work will take center stage, reminding guests of the life-changing impact their support makes possible.

The Potter League for Animals serves more than 13,000 animals each year through a wide range of programs, including pet adoption, veterinary care, behavior and training services, humane education, and community support programs that help keep pets and families together. Funds raised during The Bark & Boogie directly support these programs, allowing the organization to expand access to care and respond when animals and pet owners need help most.
