Special Olympics Rhode Island, sought to revitalize their space to more accurately reflect their organization and introduce a dynamic, sporty atmosphere. To accomplish this, we integrated their company logo colors throughout the space, selecting carpet tiles, furniture, finishes, fabrics, and paint colors that align with their visual identity.
A key focus was celebrating the Special Olympics athletes, achieved by featuring dynamic images on the front windows and reception desk, along with meaningful company words and phrases displayed on the front door and reception area. Additionally, a small retail space was added to the waiting area, offering Special Olympics merchandise to visitors. To honor their achievements, a display case was installed in the reception area to proudly showcase awards and the organization's Hall of Fame, making it a focal point for everyone who enters. We are sincerely grateful to Baycrane Northeast in Smithfield, RI for their generous donation of (coincidentally) beautiful furniture, that perfectly coordinates with the new reception area.
To create a more open and inviting workspace, the office layout was enhanced with open desks and vibrant accent tack boards that echo the organization’s colors. The president’s office was also redesigned to include a casual meeting area, fostering a more welcoming and collaborative feel.
This new workspace will help Special Olympics Rhode Island continue it's important work of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Office Direct is extremely proud and most grateful to have been selected to be part of this amazing transformation.
