People’s Credit Union Returns as Presenting Sponsor of Newport's Broadway Street Fair to Be Held on October 10th
People’s Credit Union is pleased to announce it will once again be the Presenting Sponsor of the Broadway Street Fair, taking place on Saturday, October 10th in Newport, Rhode Island. Now in its 9th year, the fair has grown from a local street celebration into a vibrant community tradition and an essential part of Newport's fall season. Spanning six blocks from Equality Park to Washington Square, the free community event brings together families, local businesses, restaurants, artists, musicians, nonprofits, and community organizations for a day filled with music, art, food, and fun.
“We’re pleased to return as the Presenting Sponsor of Newport’s Broadway Street Fair and to support an event that has truly taken on a life of its own,” said Courtney Hunter, Head of Community Development for People’s Credit Union. “The Fair is a wonderful reflection of what this community has built together, and we’re grateful to be a part of it.”
The fair’s growing impact and popularity were recently recognized when it received Newport Life Magazine’s ‘Best of Newport County’ award for best festival, an honor that reflects the special place the event has earned within the community.
