People's Credit Union Names Christie Jencks Head of Commercial Lending
Brings financial and regulatory acumen and strong member relationship management skills
People’s Credit Union announced the promotion of Christie Jencks to Head of Commercial Lending. In her expanded role, Christie will be responsible for the overall growth and management of the Credit Union’s commercial loan portfolio, with a focus on prospect and member business development, as well as overseeing all department operational responsibilities such as credit analysis, relationship reviews, and capacity development.Prior to joining People’s in 2022, Christie held branch management, relationship management, and business development roles at Citizens Bank, Digital Federal Credit Union, and Chase Bank. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College.
Jencks will report to the Head of Lending, and be based out of the Credit Union’s Middletown, RI headquarters.
