Newport Mansions “Sessions” Music Video Series to Feature Local Duo Laden Valley

Newport Mansions new music video series “Sessions” continues this month with a performance from Newport-based roots-folk duo Laden Valley recorded live at The Elms mansion in Newport.
The full Laden Valley performance is available to view on the Newport Mansions YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@newport.mansions
This performance comes on the heels of “Sessions” successful launch in January with The Ballroom Thieves (live at Marble House) and last month’s performance by The Wood Brothers (live at The Breakers Stable & Carriage House).
Laden Valley (Evan St. Martin, Dave Sarazen) have been consistently touring, including appearances at the 2023 Newport Folk Festival and last year’s sold-out performance at The Jane Pickens Theater. Drawing inspiration from the wide-ranging sonic palette of the 1970s, Laden Valley's music is deeply rooted in tight vocal harmonies and honest songwriting, exploring themes like the passage of time, the excesses of modern life, and the long journey toward redemption. Their upcoming EP, recorded in Fort Worth, TX with producer Robert Ellis, features tracks like lead single "Desert Rain" and "There Was A Light" featuring The Ballroom Thieves. More “Sessions” to be announced and released throughout 2026.
