Cross Insurance Expands Southern New England Presence with Grand Opening of Flagship Office in Providence’s The Foundry
Cross Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance providers in the Northeast, is excited to announce the opening of its new flagship office in Providence, Rhode Island.
Joined by team members and local dignitaries—including Providence’s Director of Economic Development, Ted Carr—Cross leadership marked the opening of the new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Located in The Foundry, a revitalized industrial site along the Woonasquatucket River, the new office spans nearly 30,000 square feet and accommodates 75 Cross employees who have relocated from the company’s Rumford location. This expansion significantly strengthens Cross Insurance’s presence in the Southern New England market.

The new office offers ample free walk-up parking and easy access to Interstates 95 and 195. Additionally, the location's proximity to modern loft apartments, Providence Place Mall, the Providence Train Station, and the Rhode Island State House makes it an attractive choice for prospective Cross clients and employees.
