Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) in Providence announced today that it was presented with the Sales Excellence Award during the company’s annual National Meeting.
Winners of this award drive exceptional sales results, develop their team members’ sales talent and create innovative solutions that positively impact their clients and candidates for the better. With measurable goals and a defined sales process, Kristi Silva, franchise owner of Spherion in Providence, earned this prestigious honor for her ability to foster an environment of continuous improvement, adaptability and a healthy dose of competitiveness. Her offices closed 42 new accounts, helping even more businesses in the Providence community connect with local job seekers.
“I got into this business in my twenties because helping people get to work is my passion. We’re here to make a difference in the lives of our clients and candidates, and that starts with a consistent, reliable process and a strong desire to win,” said Silva. “Last year, I invested in my colleagues, providing them with Sandler sales training, and it’s really served to grow everyone’s confidence. This recognition is a testament to their persistence, and I hope to continue inspiring our collective growth mindset in the year ahead.”
The 2025 Spherion National Meeting was held at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, from February 27 to March 1. The event gave franchisees a chance to build connections with peers and corporate team members while attending educational workshops that reinforced Spherion’s dedication to ongoing development and progress. During this annual gathering, Spherion partnered with San Antonio-based non-profit Soldiers' Angels, making 45 no-sew blankets for active military members, veterans and their families. This effort further emphasizes Spherion’s commitment to making a positive impact in every community it serves.
