John F. Dolan, III, broker and owner of Dolan O’Rourke Real Estate Services in Cumberland, RI, was installed as the 2027 president of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® (GPBOR) on September 16, 2026, during the organization’s 120th Annual Meeting at the Squantum Association. An active leader with GPBOR since 2017, Dolan has served on various committees and on its Board of Directors. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (RIAR) and is a Trustee on its charitable foundation. He holds the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) At Home With Diversity (AHWD) and REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) certifications. He is a licensed real estate broker in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Dolan officially assumed the Presidency on October 1, 2026, representing an Association of more than 2,000 members.

Also at the Annual Meeting, Sally Hersey of Williams & Stuart Real Estate received the 2026 GPBOR REALTOR® of the Year Award, and John Moretti also of Williams & Stuart Real Estate, received the Lear Award.
