Dive Into Volunteering at Save The Bay’s Aquarium
Community members are invited to learn about volunteer opportunities and take a tour through the Aquarium.
Save The Bay will host an Aquarium Volunteer Program Information Session at its Hamilton Family Aquarium in Newport—a mission-driven space dedicated to maintaining the health of the Narragansett Bay. As the only Aquarium in Newport, the interactive aquarium brings visitors to locally sourced marine life, hands-on exhibits, and a conservation model that returns most of the animals back to the wild. The information session offers community members the opportunity to learn about volunteer roles and how to get involved in environmental education and conservation. The session will include an overview of aquarist, educator, and front desk volunteer opportunities, followed by a question-and-answer session and a tour of the Aquarium.
