DiPrete Engineering is proud to announce the promotion of Matthew Insana, PLS, into the firm’s Executive Leadership Program. Matt has been a valued member of the DiPrete team since joining the firm in 2004 and brings more than 22 years of experience in surveying, land development support, and project coordination across New England. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford in 2000 and later completed a Geomatics Certificate from the University of Florida in 2015.

As a Senior Survey Project Manager, Matt is responsible for overseeing the preparation of complex land surveys and coordinating closely with engineering staff and clients to support a wide range of development projects. His experience includes ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary and right-of-way surveys, GPS and aerial control, deed research, and integration of survey data to support engineering design and permitting efforts.  

Matt has played a key role in supporting several of the firm’s high-profile projects throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including large-scale commercial, mixed-use, and redevelopment efforts. His ability to coordinate fieldwork, manage survey teams, and deliver accurate, timely data has been instrumental in advancing projects from due diligence through construction. Matt is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Rhode Island and New York.

In addition to his technical expertise, Matt is a dedicated mentor and leader within the Survey group, providing guidance and training to junior staff. His promotion reflects his long-standing commitment to quality, teamwork, and DiPrete’s core values.
