Delta Dental of Rhode Island appoints Benjamin Mack as General Counsel

Delta Dental of Rhode Island today announced the appointment of Benjamin Mack as its next General Counsel, following the planned retirement of the organization’s long-standing General Counsel. 

Mack joins Delta Dental from Point32Health, where he served as Senior Associate General Counsel and spent over eight years advising on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, including dispute resolution, sales, vendor contracts, technology and cybersecurity, intellectual property, and employee relations and benefits.

Previously, Mack served as Enforcement Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he led investigations into violations of federal securities laws. Earlier in his career, he was a litigation partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP and an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, representing corporations and executives in complex commercial and regulatory matters.

As General Counsel, Mack will oversee all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions for Delta Dental of Rhode Island and its subsidiaries, supporting the organization’s mission and operations while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Mack earned his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College and received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law.
