Join DESIGNxRI  to explore the fascinating world of product design and manufacturing, exploring what it really takes to bring an idea from a sketch on a napkin to a finished object. Featuring local industrial designer and entrepreneur Lukas Scheurer and machinist and problem-solver Adam Dau, the evening will unpack two very different approaches to making, from global manufacturing pipelines and patented consumer products to highly specialized custom fabrication and precision machining.
 
Through short talks and conversation, Lukas and Adam will share how constraints, tools, collaboration, and production methods shape the design process and influence the final user experience.
