BankNewport Welcomes John Droukas as VP, Commercial Credit Underwriting Manager
BankNewport is pleased to announce that John P. Droukas has been named vice president, commercial credit underwriting manager. In this role, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s Commercial Credit Underwriting Team, supporting the growth strength and quality of the institution’s commercial loan portfolio.
Droukas brings valuable experience in commercial credit and underwriting to BankNewport, most recently serving as a commercial credit approval officer with Rockland Trust in Brockton, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he was a commercial underwriter with Citizens Bank in Warwick, Rhode Island, specializing in commercial and business banking.
A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
John resides in Dartmouth, Massachusetts with his family.
