BankNewport Welcomes Dennis Bogdan as Vice President, Portfolio Relationship Manager

BankNewport is pleased to announce that Dennis E. Bogdan has been appointed vice president, portfolio relationship manager. In this role, he will work with assigned loan officers to manage new and existing commercial lending relationships. He will also be responsible for assisting with loan modifications, renewals, and covenant testing among other varied portfolio management duties.

Bogdan brings a strong background in finance and operations, having most recently served as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual in Providence, Rhode Island. His previous experience also includes serving as credit bureau reporting operations manager at Citizens Bank in Johnston, Rhode Island.

Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later received an MBA in Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He holds multiple professional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP (PMI), Scrum Master (SCM), and several FINRA licenses.

A native of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Dennis currently resides in Swansea, Massachusetts with his family.
