BankNewport recently donated $2,500 to Lincoln Little League to support the purchase of four new Streamliner 354 Line Chalker machines, which will be used to maintain baseball and softball fields throughout Lincoln.

The new equipment will help Lincoln Little League create clean, professional field markings for games and practices across several community fields, including Hein Field, Albion Field, Lime Acres, Manville and Little Fenway.

In addition to the equipment donation, BankNewport is supporting Lincoln Little League through team sponsorships this season. Players from both a boys majors baseball team and a girls softball team will wear BankNewport on the back of their jerseys, reflecting the bank’s continued commitment to youth sports and community engagement.

“As both a BankNewport team member and a Lincoln Little League volunteer, it is especially meaningful to see this donation directly support the fields, players and families who are part of the league,” said Carlos Cabral, Vice President, Branch Manager of BankNewport’s Lincoln branch. “These new chalk lining machines will make a real difference for the volunteers who prepare the fields each week and help ensure players have a great experience throughout the season.”

Cabral joined Lincoln Little League players, volunteers and board members on Friday, May 22, for a check presentation and photo opportunity featuring the new line chalking equipment.
