Founded in 1992, MMID Group is a global product development firm, located in Providence, Rhode Island, The Netherlands and Germany. With a team of 60+ designers, hardware engineers, firmware and electronics specialists, we support around 60 clients per year and roughly 100 products per year. As experts, we help companies working on highly technical physical products and derisk their product development investments. We live best between all kinds of users and highly complicated products that need to work reliably. We follow an internally developed ISO 13485 certified innovation process that enables our customers and MMID to always have a clear grip on the project, the needed timeline and product requirements, resulting in designs that are user-centered and achieve the planned business case. Our clients mainly reside in biotechnology, medical devices, safety/emergency tools, consumer products and HVACR products. In 34 years, we have helped build award winning products with clients like Festool, Bosch, aalberts, Viega, Dräger Medical & Safety, Vileda Professional, Amgen, Hosokawa, Miele, The Coca-Cola Company, Heineken, Unilever and dozens of disruptive startups. We mainly support hardware, firmware and embedded system projects that need functionality, producibility or look & feel support. We work as either extra capacity as needed by manufacturers and clients, or on fixed deliverables agreed upon for the project.
