If someone described a major real estate development company that has completed multi-million dollar projects in Boston and New York and as far away as Hawaii and Mexico City, where would you expect it to be located? Most Young Leaders in Rhode Island would be surprised to find this company, the Peregrine Group, is headquartered right here in East Providence. They might also be surprised that this company was started back in 2001 and has been extremely successful in spite of the "unfavorable" economic conditions in our state.

The Principal of Peregrine Group, Colin Kane, will be featured in the third installment of  United Way Young Leader's Circle's "Learn with Leaders" series, "Building Your Risk Appetite." Colin will share his fascinating story about why he chose to return to Rhode Island and the experiences that have helped him achieve success. Guests will learn about the unique features that Rhode Island offers and why Colin is so positive about our state.

The event will include hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Plenty of free parking. There is a suggested donation of $5 or new pair of kid sneakers. Any sneakers collected will be donated to Gotta Have Sole Foundation and all monetary donations will support heating assistance through United Way-funded programs.
