Join us as members of URI’s College of Business lead a workshop on Strategic Career Planning. This session will help you identify your career goals, create a clear path for growth, and build the skills and connections needed to take the next step in your career.

You’ll also learn practical strategies to overcome career challenges, expand your professional network, and take advantage of new opportunities.

Participants will leave with a personalized action plan and clear next steps for continued career growth and success.

Mileiry “Milly” De La Cruz serves as the Assistant Director of Professional and Executive Business Education at the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business, where she leads business development initiatives and cultivates strategic partnerships with organizations and employers. She is actively engaged in the community, facilitating professional development workshops, promoting URI College of Business graduate programs, and building connections through networking and community events.

A Providence native, Milly holds an associate degree in General Studies from the Community College of Rhode Island, a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Rhode Island College, and a master’s degree in Higher Education from Providence College.

Heidi Bucci

Heidi Bucci joins the College of Business from URI’s Graduate School where she has worked in graduate admissions since 2020. Previously, she worked at Community College of Rhode Island for six years and has over 25 years of experience spanning higher education, non-profit, multi-industry, and international program development, with a strong background in accounts management and language instruction across FL, MA, and RI. She earned her B.A. in Global Languages and Area Studies (with a focus on Arabic language), and a M.P.A. at URI.
