About the Keynote Speaker, Kim Kalunian:
Kim Kalunian is a reporter and anchor of 12 News Now at 4 and 5:30 at WPRI 12 and Fox Providence. She first joined the team in 2015. As a native Rhode Islander, Kim is thrilled to be able to cover the biggest stories in her home state.

Before joining the WPRI team, Kim worked as the drive-time news anchor on News Talk 630 & 99.7 FM WPRO, working alongside radio hosts like the late Buddy Cianci. She also worked as a news intern at Rhode Island Public Radio and as a staff reporter at the Warwick Beacon, Cranston Herald and Johnston Sun Rise newspapers.

Her journalism has been recognized with awards and accolades including an Edward R. Murrow Award for her coverage of the Brown University shooting in 2025 and a regional Emmy nomination for her series on cold cases. 

Before pursuing her career in media, Kim was a professional stage actress, performing on stages across the East Coast including at Trinity Rep, Carnegie Hall and Theatre by the Sea.

The Worksite Health Awards are presented by the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island.
