Chamber Board Chair Dr. Meghan Hughes and Chamber President Laurie White will host a conversation with U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina M. Raimondo and U.S. Labor Secretary Martin J. Walsh. They will discuss a wide range of national and international issues impacting our economy, the workforce and Rhode Island businesses.

Secretary Raimondo was formerly the 75th Governor of Rhode Island and its first woman governor. As the 40th U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Secretary Raimondo is focused on a simple but vital mission ? to spur good-paying jobs, empower entrepreneurs to innovate and grow, and help American workers and businesses compete.

A lifelong champion of equity and fairness, and a proud product of the City of Boston, Secretary Walsh leads the U.S. Department of Labor with a strong connection to working people, and a commitment to creating an economy that works for all. Prior to his confirmation by the U.S. Senate, Secretary Walsh served seven years as the 54th Mayor of Boston.
