Commerce Secretary Pryor Discusses Restore RI Grants, Additional Support for RI Businesses

Chamber President Laurie White spoke with Rhode Island Secretary of Commerce Stefan Pryor about the state's Restore RI grant program. The program is aimed at Rhode Island small businesses that have been most severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible small businesses are able to apply for grants of up to $15,000.

They also discussed additional RI Commerce programs to support Rhode Island businesses, including the Take It Outside initiative to help businesses stay open longer outdoors into the fall/winter season, small business loans and coming initiatives to help businesses adapt to new business models and product lines as well as assistance for the state's non-profits.

Secretary Pryor urges all businesses who are interested in taking advantage of these programs but are not exactly sure how, to reach out and call (401) 521-HELP or visit commerceri.com.

Businesses may also contact the Chamber at chamber@provchamber.com or call (401) 521-5000, and we will be sure to connect with the right resource.
