Scouting America Narragansett Council is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Connolly from Development Officer to Director of Development and Chief Development Officer, effective May 15, 2025.

Mike has been an invaluable member of our team, demonstrating exceptional dedication in his role as Development Officer. His contributions have significantly advanced our fundraising efforts and strengthened our  community partnerships.

Mike is an Eagle Scout, a Camp Yawgoog Staff Alumni, proud parent of an Eagle Scout, graduate of Rhode Island College, and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from College of Saint Mary.

In his new role, Mike will  oversee all development activities, including strategic planning, donor relations, and fundraising initiatives. His expertise and vision will be instrumental in driving our mission forward and ensuring the continued  success of our programs. Mike will also lead the search for a new Development Director to join our team.
