Content Creation with Generative AI


Generative AI has rapidly become part of the modern content workflow, but effective use requires more than good prompts. This one-hour Lunch & Learn explores how marketers and creators can integrate generative AI into content creation across digital, social, and traditional media without sacrificing strategy, originality, or brand integrity.

Participants will learn how creative strategy guides AI-assisted execution, how to evaluate and refine AI-generated copy and visuals, and how integrated campaigns are built across channels in today’s creator economy. Through real-world examples and practical frameworks, this session reframes AI as a creative collaborator rather than a shortcut, equipping attendees with immediately applicable insights for producing smarter, more cohesive content.



Meet Mathiew Medeiros

 
Mathiew Medeiros is a seasoned marketing leader, Adjunct Professor at
Johnson & Wales University, and D.B.A. candidate with over 20 years of experience building and growing brands across diverse industries. He has directed high-impact marketing strategies for organizations ranging from startups to established enterprises, managing multimillion-dollar campaigns that consistently drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth.

As Director of Marketing at Envision Technology Advisors, Mathiew collaborated with executive leadership to strengthen partner relationships, expand channel programs, and execute data-driven strategies that elevated brand presence and sales performance. He previously co-founded Basil & Bunny, a 100% plant-based restaurant, where he combined entrepreneurial vision with marketing expertise to achieve significant year-over-year growth. His career also includes leadership roles at Narragansett Beer, where he delivered measurable results through innovative digital marketing and brand development.

With advanced expertise in branding, strategic planning, data analytics, and digital marketing, Mathiew brings a unique blend of creativity and analytical insight. He holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Johnson & Wales University, where his research interests focus on marketing strategy, brand management, and organizational growth.

By the end of this one-hour session, participants will be able to:
  • Apply creative strategy to AI-assisted content creation by distinguishing between strategic thinking (human-led) and executional support (AI-enabled) across media channels.
  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated copy and visuals to ensure alignment with brand voice, audience insight, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Identify practical, ethical ways to integrate generative AI into everyday workflows, improving speed and consistency without sacrificing originality or creative judgment.
