Potter League for Animals: 95 Years of Compassion, Care, and Community Impact
Meet Potter League for Animals: Rhode Island’s 95-year-old champion for pets and people alike! 🐾
Founded in 1929 and housed in a state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified building since 2008, Potter League has been setting the standard for animal welfare. They are the first LEED Gold-certified project in Rhode Island and the first LEED Gold animal shelter in the country. Their compassionate team provides services beyond adoption, including running a pet food pantry, offering vet care, and even supporting local domestic violence shelters. There are plenty of ways to get involved with Potter League, and your support can make a huge difference!
Did you know? Last year alone, they distributed over 55,000 pounds of pet food to families in need! And fun fact: in rabbits, the size of the female’s dewlap grows with her size!
Join us in supporting Potter League by donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word. Every bit helps! 💚
